Instructor: Melony Poirier is an artist / graphic designer/ bookbinder with a passion for the Book Arts. She enjoys teaching others the joy of bookmaking and often incorporates a book structure into her art. She resides in Southern Rhode Island with her husband and daughter and owns Madden Lane Studios.
Come and learn about the fundamentals to creating your own books. Students will learn to make a knife edge book. Many of the techniques learned here can be used to create many other types of books. This is one class you don’t want to miss! All materials will be included but feel free to bring any special paper you may want to use for your covers or end sheets. Registration closes Nov 13.
