Aida Arain-Alam is a member of the Weston community who is a former management consultant, and teacher turned hobby baker. An avid baker since the age of seven when she made her first birthday cake, Aida is a self-taught cookie decorator who has been making and donating decorated cookies since becoming a stay-at-home parent over a decade ago. As the Bake Sale Co-Chair for the Friends of the Weston Public Library, you may have seen her creations or even purchased a few of them at one of the many FWPL bake sales. Join Weston community member, teacher, baker, and cookie artist, Aida Arain-Alam in creating one dozen fall-themed decorated cookies. In this class, you will learn the basics techniques of using royal icing to create four different fall-themed designs. Along with learning techniques, you will also receive an extensive list of resources to create your own decorated cookies at home! Registration closes Oct 24.
