Saturday Workshop
Transform a garment you love with hand embroidery. In this beginner-friendly embroidery workshop, you will expand your repertoire of embroidery stitches while adding a personal, handmade touch to a piece from your own wardrobe. All skill levels are welcome Bring one non-stretch garment to embellish — jeans, pants, skirt, blouse, or jacket Instructor Carson Eddy will guide you as your stitch.

In this workshop you can add an embroidery motif around a pocket, buttonholes, belt loops, or cuffs. You can also use this visible mending embroidery technique to decoratively alter a hem or sleeve length — a method that’s both practical and beautiful. Hand embroidery takes time, and your project doesn’t have to end when class does. Every participant will take home a Beginner Embroidery Kit to finish or expand their work at their own pace.
The Beginner Embroidery Kit includes:
- 4-inch wooden embroidery hoop
- Curated selection of embroidery floss
- Embroidery needles and needle threader
Prerequisite: No experience needed. Some hand sewing experience is recommended.

Cost: $55 ($10 materials paid to instructor)
