Instructor: Elizabeth Stubbs is a felt artist living and working in Nahant, Massachusetts. She has a BFA from Boston University School for the Arts in painting, and has spent many years as a fine artist, illustrator, and teacher. She also holds a MEd from Antioch University in Early Childhood with a Waldorf certificate. It was during this teacher training that she was first exposed to the art of felt making and has been making felt for over 20 years. She teaches felt making classes and workshops in the greater Boston area.
Spend a pleasant morning making a beautiful pumpkin or gourd to decorate for the fall. Needle felting is easy to learn and requires little space. This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous felting experience. All materials will be supplied at a cost of $30 to be paid directly to the instructor and participants may take home their tools so that they can continue this craft which many find addictive. Registration closes Sept 17.
