Learn Japanese embroidery and make a handmade holiday gift. Looking for a creative, calming craft to try this holiday season? Join instructor Mariko Sugimori for a fun, beginner-friendly Sashiko Workshop where you’ll learn the art of traditional Japanese embroidery — and go home with a set of handmade coasters you can keep or give as a heartfelt holiday gift.
During this morning of mindful crafting, you’ll practice two beautiful Sashiko stitch patterns: moyouzashi and kugurizashi. Whether you’re new to embroidery or looking to expand your needlework skills, this Japanese stitching class is the perfect way to slow down, create, and connect.

What You’ll Learn:
- An introduction to Sashiko, the traditional Japanese art of decorative stitching
