Instructor: KATHY ALUIA. I trace my passion for textile arts back to the hours I spent sitting on the floor underneath my great grandmother’s treadle sewing machine. Always happiest with needle, thread and fabric in my hands, I grew up creating my own designs, acquiring and honing my skills. I’ve had the honor and pleasure of spending more than 20 years teaching and facilitating classes in the full range of textile arts: quilting, sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, weaving and dyeing. My ongoing desire is to inspire people of all ages to play and create without fear, working from an organic and intuitive place.
