Instructor: Carson Eddy is a teacher, designer, author, and textile artisan with 30+ years of experience teaching a range of sewing, jewelry-making, and craft skills. A strong believer in the power of creativity, Carson enjoys sharing her knowledge and teaching people new skills so they can discover their creative potential. Carson received her M.F.A. in Costume Design, from Carnegie Mellon University.

Summer is coming!  Join us to make this fantastic canvas tote in a selection of bright colors.  Please select your canvas color during registration. This tote is perfectly sized to be a handbag, laptop tote, or pool carry-all.  Learn about bag construction and take home the tote, the pattern, and detailed instructions. All supplies are included in the materials kit and tools and machines will be provided for your use in the maker space. Students will need to select canvas color during registration. Registration closes Sun, May 15.

Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Machine Sewing or machine sewing experience.

  • Spool of Coordinating Thread
  • Pellon Interfacing

Color Options:
